Visitors, wifi and membership in one CRM
An upgrade to Dynamics 365, secure access over the internet, and public wifi sign-ins and membership cards feeding straight into the CRM.
What we delivered
- An upgrade from Dynamics CRM 2013 to Dynamics 365.
- Secure access over the internet. We implemented ADFS for an internet-facing deployment, so the system can be reached from outside the office network with proper sign-in.
- Public wifi integration. We built an integration with the company’s public wifi systems. People can log in to the wifi, and their visit is logged in Dynamics.
- Membership card integration. The membership card system is connected to Dynamics as well.
Why it is a good example
Most CRM projects end with the upgrade. This one carried on, connecting the CRM to the systems that visitors and members actually touch. The result is a CRM that fills itself with what is happening on the ground, without anyone typing it in.
It also shows the range a small team has to cover on a job like this: a version upgrade, identity and sign-in, and two integrations with outside systems.
A portal where foster carers keep their diaries
An upgrade from Dynamics CRM 2011 to Dynamics 365, then a portal on top of it for foster carers to log diaries and receive support.
