A portal where foster carers keep their diaries
An upgrade from Dynamics CRM 2011 to Dynamics 365, then a portal on top of it for foster carers to log diaries and receive support.
What we delivered
- An upgrade from Dynamics CRM 2011 to Dynamics 365. We managed the move from a version several generations old.
- A portal for foster carers. Carers use it to log their diaries and to receive support. It is integrated with Dynamics, so what a carer records sits in the agency’s CRM.
- Web forms that feed Dynamics. We integrated the agency’s web forms solution with Dynamics using a custom Zapier connector that we wrote for the purpose.
Why it is a good example
A foster care agency’s records are sensitive, and the people adding to them are not office staff. A portal has to be simple enough for a carer to use at home, and strict enough about what each person can see.
We also wrote a custom connector, so that the web forms and the CRM work as one system and nobody has to copy answers from one to the other.
