- Automatic order import. We developed an application that picks up the company’s orders from eBay and Amazon and imports them into its ERP system.
Why it is a good example
A supplier that sells through marketplaces takes orders in places its ERP system knows nothing about. Unless something connects them, each order has to be typed in again by hand before it can be picked, shipped and invoiced.
This is a small, focused piece of integration work. The orders arrive in the system the business already runs on, and nobody has to copy them across.
