Andy Brown MIoD Managing Director

Andy is a specialist in Information Technology and has been in the Recruitment Sector for over 5 years now. His previous experience includes positions in Consultancy, Manufacturing and Retail where amongst other successes he led the IT, Operations, HR, Sales and Marketing functions of a multi-million pound business. Andy has also worked as a Developer, Project and Programme Manager. Andy is a member of the Microsoft Partner Advisory Board for Dynamics, holds a BSC Hons. in Computer Science and has over 13 years IT experience with 10 of those being at management level.

Andy holds a black belt 1st dan in Taekwondo, and enjoys teaching and training at his local club. He also plays the piano and guitar (although not at the same time!) and is an ardent follower of Stoke City FC.

Anne Gwilliam Cirrus Nova Finance Director

Anne Gwilliam ACMA Finance Director

Anne is CIMA qualified, has a BA Hons in Business Management and a HNC Business Administration, as well as 9 years accounting experience. She is responsible for internal management reporting, statutory reporting, forecasting, investment, risk, strategy formation and business planning. Anne has a broad experience of different industries including banking, manufacturing, distribution and financial services and has implemented the systems and controls in place at Cirrus Nova, drawing on considerable experience of risk assessment and control implementation.

Anne is a keen runner, regularly competing in trail and road races, most recently The Beast and Mudrunner Oblivion! She also spends much of her spare time in the countryside, either walking or horse riding.

Matt Evans Cirrus Nova Programme Manager

Matt Evans Programme Manager

Matt is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner Programme Manager with a background in IT and infrastructure holding a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Business. Matt has worked within a project management environment for over fourteen years building experience in all aspects including vendor selection, business analysis, risk management and day to day project management. Matt’s role is to ensure that all projects and business functions within Cirrus Nova are fully planned ensuring that risks have been evaluated and categorised and communications are kept flowing between customers, suppliers and the internal workforce.

Matt is a qualified PADI Divemaster and has explored the underwater world in many different countries ranging from Burma to Gran Canaria. He is also a keen long distance runner and has completed a number of half marathons and in 2010 completed his first full marathon.

Matt Smith Development Manager

Matt has over 10 years’ experience in web development, a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering and a host of Microsoft Certifications including 5 MCTS’s, 1 MCPD and 1 MCIP, he is proficient developing windows, web and distributed applications at enterprise level. Matt has over two years of experience in developing systems inside the Microsoft Dynamics Platform, including a payroll system integrated with SAGE, and the Cirrus Nova recruitment solution, developed on the CRM 2011 Beta platform.

Matt likes going to the gym in his spare time and enjoys the outdoors. He is a proficient snowboarder and enjoys camping and bush craft. In 2010 he walked 52 miles in 24 hours for charity and he recently canoed 366Km in Sweden for fun!

Neil McDonald Cirrus Nova Service Delivery Manager

Neil McDonald Service Delivery Manager

Neil has extensive experience with server side technologies, including Windows, Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Exchange, Project, IIS and SQL Server. He specialises in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and has implemented dozens of customised CRM systems. Neil has implemented the robust IT infrastructure behind Cirrus Nova’s operation and he also runs the IT service desk function.

Neil would describe himself as a typical computer geek and his spare time and work time tend to blur in to one. Indeed he is an active member of the Microsoft Dynamics online community, where his CRM blog and guidance videos were recently recognised by Microsoft with a Microsoft Community Contributor award. When he doesn’t have his fingers glued to a keyboard, they can apparently be found expertly strumming rock on acoustic and electric guitars.
